Its Nearly Over

The hand in date is closing in on us all so we are all getting down to business and working harder than ever. So here is an update of what the team has been doing since Monday.

(Above) George has been an asset machine. He has been making lots of assets to fill out our map and also has been making assets for the tavern to help move things along according to the deadline on the 30th. We are all really grateful for his help and how quickly he has been creating some great assets for the map.
Shayleen has been re-making the trees for the level (after loosing the first models) and creating terrain textures to help break up the flat and brown dirt. She has also been unwrapping and texturing the main assets for the tavern for putting together with George and Jamie's assets on Tuesday. Finally  to help the Tavern crew to work to the same reference, Shayleen created a mini design document for the team to work from.
Jamie had been completing his previous tasks and creating a few small assets for the tavern and boats for the harbor. Everything seems to be on track for him to have everything done for Tuesday.
Anna and Ewa have been soldiering away in cry-engine to make our level really pop. Ewa has been tackling the terrain, trying to break up the colours and textures, leveling it out and creating some man made worn paths throughout the streets. And Anna has been cleaning up the filling system, installing her lovely and dramatic skybox and helping to import the teams models into engine.

Anna has also been creating some low poly assets for the other side of the Thames  the bridge, streets in the distance and the boats floating across the water. After learning about environment probes, we have big plans for the next week to help bring in some real atmosphere to the map. More updates to come after the team meeting tomorrow and Tuesday.
