Updates and Progress

The team has been keeping up with their deadlines and will hopefully have all that we wanted done by tomorrow night. Here is a basic update of how we are all doing, but if you want any kind of step by step progress by the students individually, you can find links to our blog on the Team Roles page.

Anna and George have been working on modular buildings, texturing, planning and beginning to snap them together so we will be able to put them into Cryengine together on Tuesday.
Anna Hollinrake
George Brieley
Ewa has been creating a more unique building for one of the more individual focal buildings, we had researched and discovered that there was a bookstore in the 3 cranes area and we wanted to include that in our map.
Jamie has been working on creating boats for the little docking area of our map and planning out his textures for the warehouse buildings on the edge of the docks. He has also been researching more into materials and referencing for his buildings to get a better understanding for his assets.
I had created the original white box (that in this image Jamie had added the boats) for the group to work from and i have been working on some more organic assets, i have been creating basic trees to try and fill out our more open areas of the map and then creating a more detailed try that will wind and curl up to the sky in the 3 cranes harbor.
And Finally, Michael has been working on lighting, terrain and will hopefully have the cranes themselves made for tomorrow.
We do feel like we have had a slow start, and feel like we could be doing more with the time that we have had, but we have all agreed that when we meet again on Tuesday we will start the big ball rolling and work extremely hard to churn out work.
